The 10x42 binoculars (88) deliver incredible optical performance in a lightweight, yet durable, body design. They borrow the magnification system from Alpen top line Rainier binoculars and the body system from Alpen popular high quality Apex binocular series.

These binoculars provide great optical performance with fully multi-coated optics, including the exclusive UBX multi-coating, SHR metallic coating and BAK-4 PXA Phase coated prisms. Each prism is treated with over 60 layers of these high performance coatings to provide incredible light performance through the entire optical system. The result is not only a super bright image, but an image that has full color fidelity and exquisite sharpness in full and low light viewing conditions.

The composite body design of the binoculars provides light weight, yet durable, performance for years of field tough performance. Ergonomically styled for ease-of-use and comfort, they are rubber armored. Also included with these waterproof and fogproof binoculars are rubber rain guards, a stylish and durable carrying case, and a premium, extra wide neck strap.
